No convention — discovered and MX-verified. The only paid step.

Most tools charge for every contact.
We charge for finding, not guessing.

Two ways to get an address — and the difference is your bill.

Derive — free, unlimited

When a segment has a known, validated email convention, every address is constructed from it. No discovery, no verification, no cost — build as many as you like.

Find — metered, verified

When there's no convention, SectorScan discovers the address and verifies it. This is the hard, valuable work — so it's the only action you pay for.

From a hunch to a verified list

Four steps, mostly automated.

01

Describe your target

Add your company profile and pick a segment. SectorScan's AI suggests the specific types of organisation you should be selling to.

02

We test for a convention

AI proposes whether the segment has a public email pattern (e.g. GAA clubs use {role}.{club}.{county}@gaa.ie), then validates it against a real sample.

03

Derive free, find the rest

Where a convention holds, addresses are derived for free, unlimited. Where it doesn't, SectorScan finds and verifies them — the only metered step.

04

Stay compliant, export

Suppression and a consent gate keep the list clean. Export to CSV or push straight to your ESP in one click.

Everything to build a list you can send

Research, compliance, and export — in one place.

AI segment discovery

Turn a one-line company profile into specific, sellable target segments — no guesswork.

Convention engine

Detects and validates public email patterns, so derivable addresses cost you nothing.

Find + verify

Discover addresses with no convention and verify them — native DNS/MX checks with zero keys, mailbox-level optional.

Compliant by default

Built-in suppression list and a consent gate on export. Stay on the right side of outreach rules.

One-click export

RFC-4180 CSV download or a direct push to a Resend audience. Your list, your tools.

Multi-tenant workspaces

Per-workspace data, roles, and usage. Run campaigns for one brand or many.

Pay for finding. Never for deriving.

Derivation is unlimited on every plan. You only meter verifications and export rows.

Questions, answered

Why SectorScan

How is this different from buying a contact list?

Bought lists are stale, generic, and charged per row. SectorScan builds a list for your exact segment on demand — and where a public email convention exists, those addresses are constructed for free instead of bought.

What does “derive vs find” mean for my bill?

Deriving an address from a known, validated convention is free and unlimited. Finding an address where no convention exists — discovering and verifying it — is the only metered action. You pay for the hard part, nothing else.

Can I export to the tools I already use?

Yes — every plan includes CSV export, and you can push contacts straight into a Resend audience. More integrations follow.

Getting started

What does SectorScan do?

It builds targeted, verified B2B contact lists. You describe who you want to reach and where, and SectorScan finds the organisations, works out a contact address, verifies it, and lets you export a compliant list.

How do I run my first campaign?

Five steps in the builder: (1) set your company profile, (2) describe your audience and click Analyze, (3) pick roles and territories, (4) Run scan, (5) Verify the addresses, then Export to CSV.

How long does a scan take?

Usually a few seconds to under a minute. Discovery and light web-crawling happen while you wait, capped so it stays fast.

Derive vs Find (the core idea)

What's the difference between “derive” and “find”?

Derive builds an address for free from a known email pattern (e.g. GAA clubs use role.club.county@gaa.ie). Find is for segments with no pattern — we discover the address and verify it, which is the metered action.

Why did my scan return 0 contacts?

Most often the segment is find-only (no email convention) or the proposed pattern isn't validated yet. Validate the pattern in step 2 to unlock free derivation, or the find source may not cover that exact segment — try a local-business or ecommerce segment.

What does “validate the pattern” mean?

For a segment with a proposed convention, we check a small sample of real addresses (MX). If enough resolve, matching roles become free derivations. You'll see the checked sample as proof.

Where the data comes from

Where do the contacts come from?

It depends on the segment: a known roster (e.g. GAA clubs), OpenStreetMap for local businesses, or live ecommerce store detection. For find, we read each business's own website for a contact — we don't scrape sites that block automated access.

Why is the yield different per segment?

Yield tracks web presence. Businesses with their own websites (hotels, professional services, restaurants) yield more contacts; those without (some chains, very small shops) yield fewer.

Can I target a specific directory like Golden Pages or Yell?

Those directories actively block automated access, so we don't scrape them (that would mean evading their controls). Use the Web-search source, or a licensed places/data provider, to reach the same businesses via their own sites.

Plans, billing & add-ons

What's free vs paid?

Finding leads and standard verification are free at every tier. You pay for volume and the premium add-ons: deep verification, web-search discovery, and decision-maker contacts.

How does billing work?

Monthly or yearly subscriptions through Stripe (yearly = 2 months free). Upgrade, switch, or cancel any time via Plans → Manage billing & invoices.

Do prices include tax?

Prices are shown excluding tax; any applicable VAT/sales tax is added at checkout based on your location, and B2B customers can enter a VAT ID.

What are the premium add-ons?

Deep verification (mailbox-level, fewer bounces), Web-search discovery (reach businesses beyond our directories), and Decision-maker contacts (named owner/founder emails instead of a generic mailbox).

Compliance & privacy

Is SectorScan compliant to use?

We're built for responsible B2B research: we respect robots.txt, prefer business/role addresses, record where each lead came from (provenance), and enforce a suppression list. You remain responsible for lawful outreach — a clear opt-out and a legitimate-interest basis for EU contacts.

Can I exclude specific addresses or domains?

Yes. Anything on your suppression list is dropped from every export automatically, so you never re-contact opted-out addresses.

How is the data sourced ethically?

We read publicly available business contact details from each organisation's own website and open sources, honouring their robots directives — we don't bypass access controls or scrape sites that block bots.
